If you're planning a vacation getaway or simply finding yourself extra busy at work, and you need someone who will look after your pet(s) and give them extra special attention, then look no further. Whether you need someone for just the week or on a daily basis, I'm your girl. A lot of times, people would rather not board their pets at a kennel facility or drop them off at a daycare because they are aware of the anxiety it may cause in their animal(s). I'm here to alleviate that, making your pet's time spent away from you as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible for them. If the fact that I am and always have been a huge animal lover does not satisfy you or any concerns you might have, perhaps it would help you to know that I am also an experienced veterinarian technician at a local animal hospital. Therefore, I am also comfortable with administering any medications your pet might require, and I am knowledgeable about what to do in the event of an emergency. Some of my other services include but are not limited to daily walks (2 unless otherwise requested), feeding and watering your pet, and playtime. I am also available to transport pets to the groomer's or the vet's office and to take them on trips to the dog park, but that does require an additional charge. I am most comfortable and have had the most experience with dogs and cats, but I have also dealt with ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. I am more than happy to care for more than one pet at a time, but rates will vary depending on the number of pets you have. Generally, for the care of one pet, my rates start at $25 a day, and that includes walks, potty breaks, food and water change, and some playtime, and typically, I would visit twice a day unless otherwise instructed. Again, rates will vary depending on any extra services you might choose and if there is more than one pet in the household. My work schedule varies by day, but it's typically the same every week. Every so often, I work on Saturday mornings, but for the most part, I'd be available early in the morning and late afternoon/early evening during the week and all day on the weekend. Of course, I'd be happy to discuss with you my rates, scheduling, and anything else you might be curious about, including references. So, please don't hesitate to send me an email. Hopefully, if all goes well, we can set up a time to meet so that I can familiarize myself with your pet(s), and they can get to know me as well. I find that this is a great way to discover whether or not I'm the right match for your pet because frankly, if we don't get along well, then your pet is left feeling unhappy, and your pet's happiness is my number one priority! I've had pets all my life, and I treat them like family. I won't hesitate to treat yours just the same. I'm most willing to work in Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, Montclair, and Belleville, but if you live further away and are still interested in my services, we may be able to work something out.
